I've followed the dependency hell until I reached this:

No package 'eventlog' found

configure: error: Library requirements (eventlog) not met; consider
adjusting the PKG_CONFIG_PATH environment variable if your libraries are
in a nonstandard prefix so pkg-config can find them.

Where can I find this?  What is it a part of?
